Web-to-Print specialists Vit2Print lecture at Febelgra event - 17/10/2008.

On Tuesday 14 October 2008 Febelgra picked out the Web-to-Print theme for its thematical Tuesdaylunches. The representative organization of the Belgian printing and communication industry believed the time was right to discuss this newest prepress technology more in depth. For this purpose the organization appealed to the Web-to-Print specialists Vit2Print.

Febelgra selected NSS, the developer of the Vit2Print Web-to-Print product, as the speaker for this event. The performing speaker chose to take the tense relationship between "digital" and "paper" as a starting point to discuss the possibilities of Web-to-Print systems more in detail. After all, the graphics industry has looked at the Internet as some sort of enemy who would destroy their printing business. People would no longer search for information in a catalogue, brochure or printed newspaper - but instead read it online. Commercial printing and newspaper printing would perish in favor of their digital equivalent. However, today, we can convincingly say that nothing of those worries came reality. Moreover, today, the Internet can support and boost your graphic activities. Within this framework the performing lecturer discussed the position and possibilities of Web-to-Print.
